This is a small module that can be fitted to your Playstation 5 that will increase the speed of the fan by a percentage of the speed set by the console that can be set by the user. This helps keep your console cooler and therefore less likely to develop problems associated with heat.
Note that this module drives the fan with the correct PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal and so causes no extra strain on the fan. Simply fitting a potentiometer is not the correct way to control the speed and may cause premature failure of the fan!
This module allows the user to set the amount by which the fan speed will be increased in 10% steps, from 10% to 100%, by simply setting the rotary switch. The switch is operated using a small (2mm) flat-bladed screwdriver.
